Goodbye Brighton!

So I am typing this the day before I leave Brighton (Saturday) and I just wanted to reminisce over what I have done and if I had achieved my Brighton bucketlist.....

1. Sit on the beach and watch the waves

Luckily I managed to do this in the last week of staying in Brighton. For the 3 years that I have been there I never really sat on the beach and chilled because I was constantly working. It was so nice to chill with my mates and not have anything to do. I also hadn't been in the sea so I may have even dipped my toes in!

2 & 3. Got to Creams and Hove

This was completed quite early on on the 25th January. I had a strawberry and chocolate crepe which was lovely!!

4. Jogging along the seafront

This did not get complete but I am going back in July so may have to attempt this!!

 5. Visit the South Downs

This is something I didn't do but I did visit the Seven Sisters which is also an iconic place that is so beautiful. It was a gorgeous day and we even set up a little picnic blanket to sit on

6. Go to the Sea life Centre

I can't say that I did this either but I have been inside the centre for a cute Christmas stalls fayre that was right up my street. It's so expensive otherwise...

7. Get a photo with halls mates

This also didn't get achieved but I did take individual photos of everyone before we left, this is definitely something that can be done during a reunion to see how much we have all changed.

8. Go to Graduation Ball

I definitely did this and it was fun. Probably wasn't worth the £30 odd quid that I spent, we had casino tables, a free drink, photoshoot area and Dev from Radio 1 djing. As I hadn't finished my last exam it didn't really feel like the end either!

9. Go to the Amex Stadium

We got front row seats and it was a pretty good match. I think me and my friend were both ill with colds but we got through it and I loved how close we were to the players. Got waved at by Gully and even bought myself a Seagulls scarf!

10. Go see the Ladyboys

This also didn't get done but this may be what draws me back next year!

11. Visit the Painting Pottery Café

We definitely did this and it was so much fun! I painted a Dinosaur (which I called Milner after my road) with all my favourite things from Brighton. I love him <3

So 7 out of 11 is pretty good! Brighton will always have a special place in my heart and not completing this bucketlist only means that I have to come back!! I would love to travel to Devils Dyke and sit more on the beach. I have made wonderful memories with such amazing people. Until next time Brighton...

Have you got a bucket list?
Love Em
